Validar did mention that they had been doing it for generations. It probably wasn't that relevant at the time for Gangrel to mention it...

Speaking of that, Gangrel needs to be expanded upon in terms of backstory. I think I recall him telling someone he was a street urchin or something before the throne. So...perhaps he staged...
Since he never mentions if he ever joined the Grimleal, and he does hate them, I imagine he could have been one in his youth, staged a rebellion with them to kill the old Plegian King, and then left the Grimleal once realizing they were going to sacrifice the old King to Grima.
Or just have King X(we should really give him a name) have killed King Plegia(maybe a name for them to, or queen. That would be an interesting route.)

Yea, we really do need to expand on Gangrel's history. But I'd want to have the person who plays Gangel (Silver, I believe) to be involved in that conversation.

Ah, my bad. I didn't know Gangrel had been taken yet, or otherwise I wouldn't have suggested those ideas. I'm sure Silver can come up with something good, though.

So...can a crossbow-wielding character still be classified under archer despite not using traditional bows? I noticed Awakening didn't seem to have them, which is sad, because it could have been a weapon that would have allowed them to shoot from one range, and in a straight trajectory.

I believe so... Using a crossbow in the archer class would be acceptable. I mean, we're allowing custom and Fates classes, so a crossbow wouldn't be unreasonable. rest with me awhile as i drift closer to sleep ulla |

Well, I finally got the characters up. I should probably say that I'll edit them as I go, since I fully expect them to write themselves. On another note, Kyron will remain in Chapter 1, and I'll have Andorey appear later. Not really sure if she'll join, but she might. That's if both of them are accepted, that is.
