[li style="text-align:left;"] List item 2[/li] Advertise. You can advertise here. However, the advertisement should look neat, sleek and polished. A basic description + a pretty graphic on top would be best. You can also Advertise or Affiliate with other forums on Proboards, because other forums usually have boards specifically for Ads and Affiliates. [li style="text-align:left;"] Start thinking about forum events. Maybe contests, plot events, anything like that.
[/li][li style="text-align:left;"] Edit the welcome PM. Every new member receives one, but I feel that it should be edited with important links that would help new members out. I don't have the privilege as a mod. Only Jay, the admin, can edit it.

By old posts, what do you mean? Like announcements or like posts? And events should be easy to plan for quite a few of them, (Like Soul Eater and Ashinoura High) but a bit difficult for some others. They also sound very fun to do  And I honestly didn't know that the welcome message was a thing, I'll get looking on how to change it. Thank you so much for taking the time to suggest ways to make this forum better c: |

Yes! And events don't have to be only in RPs. There can be forum-wide events, too.
If you google something like 'Proboards automatic welcome PM' there's a tutorial on Youtube for it!
And no problem! I really want to see this succeed.
Also, please advertise if you can! It's a vital part of getting new members. And it tends to keep the forum active. ulla |
