Orpheus masquerades underneath the name Orfeo Ambrose at times. He's a fantastic actor as well as a quick thinker, and is extremely talented with lying as well as making up excuses and lies on the spot. He's not a compulsive liar, but he'll lie whenever he sees it to be necessary. Even the most intuitive of people can have trouble deciphering his lies from his truths. Orpheus is also quite manipulative when he wishes to be. There's a deep cruelty within him, and he'll manipulate others whenever he sees fit, regardless of the suffering he may put others through. He often manipulates those who he secretly dislikes. He attempts to stay away from manipulating and lying to people who he actually is friends with. He is not a sociopath, and actually is quite the social butterfly. It may look like he loves people, as well as talking to the, but he loves exploring human personalities as well as natures. He's always trying to investigate the human nature, and finds it quite fascinating. Orpheus acts rather cheery most of the time, which he genuinely is. He's not cold and calculating. He would hate to isolate himself from society, and has the ability to be apart of multiple social groups a at a time. He is the type to have many, many actual friends. Many wonder how it's possible that he makes time to spend with each and every friend of his. He's rather popular on campus as well. He is affectionate, physically and verbally, towards his closer friends. While he has many friends, he's closer to certain ones than he is to others. He lets his closer friends in more, as he trusts them more. Despite how well he gets along with others, he's still narcissistic and cruel. He is in love with himself. Absolutely and completely. He admires his reflection in the mirror and has an almost unhealthy need to take care of his appearance. Most think he's joking when he makes narcissistic statements, because they don't think anyone could be that in love with themselves. But he never jokes about himself. Orpheus is still thoughtful nonetheless. He's most certainly not air-headed and is one of the most advanced scholars on the campus. He's an incredibly advanced thinker. However, due to events in his past, at times he has mood swings and at times he can have manic episodes where he's impossibly active as well as jittery. He can change pace fast and will routinely baffle others with his quickly his feelings change. These episodes didn't happen very often in the past, but as he grows older, they're increasing at an alarmingly quick rate. Orpheus does not want to seek help, because he believes he can take care of it on his own. But his issues are quickly growing out of hand. Another aspect of Orpheus's is that he is obsessive towards his appearance, his superiority, and to certain relationships of his. He will be obsessed with anyone who he becomes romantically entangled with. He has never had anyone who truly loves him as a significant other, so he'll be incredibly clingy and overbearing. He's insecure about people leaving him and forgetting about him at times. powers Blue Magic Illusion Magic Reflection Magic SPELLS Zygaena filipendulae - An Illusion spell. Several holographic targets, about two to three feet in length, zero in on his enemies and blue bullets are fired towards his targeted enemies. Glaucopsyche lygdamus - A reflection spell, that will take any magical projectile fired at Orpheus and reflect it back towards the firer. Astraptes fulgerator - A Blue Magic spell. With this spell, Orpheus can actually absorb his enemies magical attacks and be able to replicate it perfectly. Bertholdia trigona - An Illusion spell. Several, holographic-like tigers launch out towards STRENGTHS Orpheus is very intelligent. He's a quick learner and has an expansive memory and vocabulary. He is capable of using his knowledge skillfully. Orpheus is also an astounding actor. He lies and deceives, and he's so brilliant at it that it's actually frightening. Orpheus is very loyal as well as being affectionate towards his friends, and he is also a decent leader figure who knows how to command others and be in charge of a large group. Orpheus has numerous magical strengths and is incredibly physically powerful as well, even if he doesn't actually look like it. He's also socially suave and intuitive. WEAKNESSES Orpheus is very volatile. He has extremely random mood swings that are actually quite unhealthy, and his mental state has dramatically deteriorated over the last couple of years. Besides his unpredictable nature, he's also quite cruel. He doesn't care about strangers and will manipulate people he doesn't like, regardless of what consequences there may be. Orpheus is deeply narcissistic and values his own pride and safety over anyone else's. He always puts himself above others whether he makes his feelings apparent or not. Orpheus also loves himself abnormally. biography His parents were tracked down by meisters and weapons, and promptly executed. Orpheus managed to escape, but was traumatized and left with a deep resentment for weapons and meisters. Unfortunately, those who had killed his parents were aware of his existence. Only when he joined a coven of witches, was he truly protected. The coven wasn't all that it appeared to be. He was trapped there after a week of living there, and tortured by the twisted group for fun. Only when his magical powers truly awakened was when he escaped. He destroyed the coven's entire base and fled into the night. From there, he traveled as a poor young man, until he was taken in by another group of witches very close to the DWMA's location. These witches were very different from the ones who he had known in the past, and trained him to use his powers to their full extent. He then worked as a mercenary as the Pull of Magic on him increased. He did this for awhile, killing and committing crimes for a living, until he became bored with it and eventually settling down and living with the group of witches.
