overall appearance • Kenji is a 6'0 male with a slim body type and an average build for someone his age. Kenji has short and wavy light blue hair that anyone can tell has been dyed to that colour. His face is long and handsome, with droopy, almost sleepy charcoal coloured eyes behind small thin circular shades that hang on his narrow hooked up nose. His lips are thin and his mouth is wide, sort of like a wild dog.



Kenji's taste in clothing are usually plain coloured t-shirts with some sort of button-up, hoodie or jacket over them and usually long pants. When in hotter climates he'll ditch the over shirt, but not the pants as he has a rather strong dislike of shorts. In colder climates though, he stockpiles as much layers of clothing as possible, due to not liking the cold. He always wears a loose necklace with a a check mark on the end of it.



His weapon form is a black Knuckle Duster with the words "LUCKY SHOT" All over it and spikes as wide as the fingers.

strengths • Kenji is good at planning, always having two plans on his mind at a time. He is quick on his feet, and nimble with his hands; and is always there for his friends.
weaknesses • If there's a risk to take he will take it no matter what the odds are, he's very impressionable, and gets addicted to things easily, he doesn't know when to quit.
dreams • To swindle everyone in the DWMA and get his father to start talking to him again.
fears • Going back. Kenji had just finally overcome the sadness of his mother's death, and would prefer not to suffer like that again.
overall personality • Kenji is a very intelligent kid with a reckless personality. He's very calm and relaxed all the time, and has a plan for literally everything, with another waiting on the back burner. These plans usually involve him tricking others, or gambling with them. As a matter of fact, gambling is one of his favourite activities. Kenji is extremely loyal to his friends and is much more affectionate around them, usually linking arms with them, or petting them since he usually is the tallest. He is also super protective of his friends and sees himself as the 'big brother' figure. He is also super perverted, constantly talking about the female anatomy, even though he has no experience in the subject. With his pervertedness there also comes a twinge of confidence and the assumption that he can get any girl he wants. This usually back fires.

overall history • Kenji was born in Tokyo to two restaurant owners. Life was calm and easy for him until his mother contracted a serious illness that had her bed ridden. At about nine years old, Kenji began to witness just how difficult life was for his father as less and less people began to come to their restaurant due to a newer, and better establishment had been made. Because of this he felt like he had to learn a way to help out his family. With a little searching on the streets he met an elderly woman; Kodama Hizuru who saw his need for money and took him under her wing and taught him the basics of cards and dice games, influencing him to continue down his gambling path. Time went on and by the age of fifteen he became a master cheater, using petty slight of hand tricks, and optical illusions to trick his victims. The money of course was still pretty hard to come by, as nobody really wanted to bet over $20 with some snot nosed brat, and his mother's condition seemed to worsen further, so much so that his mother had to be moved to the hospital. Using her mother's intuition she could tell that her son wasn't getting money legally, but continued to face her son with a warm smile and open arms. Eventually though, she finally passed on, passing off her lucky necklace to him.



After the death of his mother Kenji began spending more times on the streets, conning more people for the fun of it. His relationship with his father got worse and worse, to the point where they'd only exchange a few words on a daily basis. One day, one of his plans went wrong.



He was set up and things ended up in a street fight with a grown man. It was here where he found out he was a weapon. After a rather short talk with his father, an explanation about the DWMA and a dip into his personal savings, it was off to Death City, Nevada.
